A User Friendly GNU/Linux Ideology from Sarath Lakshman
|
It was my strong
desire to use a user friendly GNU/Linux like MS Windows OS. When I was
14 years old, I used GNU/Linux for the first time. At that time, I felt
it was hard for self- learning. But I was excited by its features
compared to Windows. This lead me to develop a user friendly GNU/Linux
for newbies. That was SLYNUX.
I am sure that, any person who can handle a GNU/Linux easily for a single time, he will surely move to GNU/Linux by experiencing its power. SLYNUX is especially for newbies (MS Windows users), who would like to migrate to GNU/Linux. At the place where I reside, there are only Windows users and they never tried GNU/Linux. So I wantto introduce them the power of GNU/Linux. I think SLYNUX will be best for starters of GNU/Linux. Surely,SLYNUX will make an attraction on beginners. That's all. Here I have started a community or a platform for users. . So they can discuss their queries and get answers from others. I also believe that SLYNUX Community will induce more windows users to GNU/Linux.
